1: Describe your sound for those who haven’t heard you?
My sound is based in indierock, but with a bunch of pop elements and videogame noises smushed in there too.
Lately, a lot of people have been comparing my music to a YouTuber named Jack Stauber who I’d somehow never heard of before then.
2: One of your memories of being in the Vancouver music scene?
Recently there was a multi-day studio session with The Project Vancity with a bunch of cool session musicians, videographers, etc all collaborating on making videos for each other, and it was really cool to get in on each other’s stuff like that.
3: Who is one of your favourite local bands?
I’m a little biased because I played drums for their last show, but ACPDF is ridiculously good.
4: Whats coming up for you?
After my show at Redgate Nov 10th, I’m taking the rest of the year off to finish a full length record hopefully.
