Canadian Music Week is coming up and we had a chance to chat with some of the bands! We whipped out our old telegram machine and tapped our questions to Cassie Noble about what she's been up to. 1: Describe your sound for those who haven’t heard you?
Moody Indie Folk Pop. Finding beauty in madness, trying to find the words to share it. Mellow, heavy with emotion, and overflowing with honesty, like a crackling fire in the middle of nowhere.
2: What is your favourite part of Canadian Music Week?
Well, it's been a while! I love how a music festival like this can make even a big city feel like a small community. The opportunity to learn from one another and share our passions inside an entire week of music is something really special.
3: Who is one of your favourite local bands?
Goodnight Sunrise comes to mind; they bring with them such a uniquely awesome energy both on and off stage.
4: Whats coming up for you?
I'm working on my first full-length album, which will hopefully be released later this year, and I'll continue touring Canada and playing festivals as much as I can in 2023!
