Enigma is putting on their first music festival this year in Penticton and Kelowna. They have a killer line up and are also featuring some local Drag Performers! Go see both their nights on April 7th and 8th!
We chatted with Our Last Crusade about their upcoming performance at 3N1GMATIC Music Fest 2023!
1: Describe your sound for those who haven’t heard you?
Our Last Crusade utilizes 8 string instruments to craft their take of modern metal. Drawing inspiration from Deathcore, Hardcore, and Metalcore, the band blends several genres to create a uniquely heavy energetic sound that results in frenetic, bombastic live performances which never fail to get a crowd moving. Biggest influences include After the Burial, Alphawolf, and The Acacia Strain.
2: Will this be the first time you’ve shared the stage with Drag Performers? What do you think of involving them in the music festival?
This will be the first time. We welcome sharing the stage with any and all local talents and entertainment.
3: Who is one of your favourite local bands?
Kelowna – Planetkiller, we are really excited to share the stage again with some of the tightest original deathcore coming out of Kelowna and some truly amazing friends.
Vancouver – Arrow in the Quiver
Alberta – We honestly can’t pick one, we have so many talented friends in our local scene!
4: What's a memorable tale from one of your shows?
When we last played Kelowna, we had a woman with a broken leg using a walker get involved in the middle of a wall of death in the moshpit! As for Vancouver, we played at the Railway downtown and we were on the second floor in that building. It was incredibly hot so the windows were open and you could hear us from the street. Someone on the street nearby started throwing down outside and climbed a tree to come headbang in the window during our set! Now that’s commitment.
