Enigma is putting on their first music festival this year in Penticton and Kelowna. They have a killer line up and are also featuring some local Drag Performers! Go see both their nights on April 7th and 8th!
We chatted with Storm The Empire about their upcoming performance at 3N1GMATIC Music Fest 2023!
1: Describe your sound for those who haven’t heard you?
We are a unique blend of Melodic Metalcore and Progressive Deathcore that is influenced by multiple other genres.
2: Will this be the first time you’ve shared the stage with Drag Performers? What do you think of involving them in the music festival?
No, we've had the honor of sharing the stage with many Drag Performers at Fallen Fest and Decimate metal fest. We see nothing wrong with involving other forms of entertainment and also enjoy the dynamic change of having Drag Acts at festivals.
3: Who is one of your favourite local bands?
Oh that's a hard one. So many talented bands in BC but to name just one would be near impossible but; Planet Killer is one of our favourite bands to perform alongside, they're a solid group of guys who put on an incredible live act.
4: What's a memorable tale from one of your shows?
We had a ton of amazing times last year on the road to Alberta that were memorable; On the way to Intersect Music Fest in Northern Alberta we took BC's gas stations for granted and almost ran out of gas about an hour away from the festival. Quite literally coasting on fumes we pulled into this small gas station in the middle of nowhere just in time before it closed. At the moment it was beyond stressful, but looking back it's one of those moments you can't help but laugh at and learn from.
